In the evolution of video games, I have seen many more sexual undertones in the competitive aggression displayed with games that involve distinguishing female and male characters. What I'm noticing is that since it's so many young males playing the video games, the female characters are skinnier, sexier and a lot more provocative. I'm not a skinny mini, and i just think it sucks that this is the imagery that is being placed in the young developmental minds of our youth. I'm not like huge or anything, I got my curves in all the right places, i'm just not a size 2. I'm not gonna get all political with this post, it's just something i've been thinking about, when I see games like grand theft auto, mortal kombat vs. DC, tomb raider, and dead or alive. Games are games as many people would say, but a lot of strategy and thought can go into them. I love video games don't get me wrong hanging with the boys playing madden and call of duty is the time of my life, but the only chicks you see are these hot ass skinny minis that are so unrealistic, and make guys drool like crazy. I want to see a plus size bombshell that isn't portrayed as a beast, but something sexy and desired. Is that too much to ask?
Anywho... I guess untill that day comes, i'll just stick to playing racing games that are just fun and old school games to make me re-live my childhood.
